	From Talkeetna we chartered a flight to sightsee in Denali. It was a 2 hour flight. It turns out that it was a perfectly clear and calm day. So the pilot landed at the basecamp of Denali where we got to watch the mountain climbers return from a day hike. This is the plane that carried us. it was a beautiful 60 deg with deep blue sky.

	After our fabulous flightseeing tour we headed to Petersville, a deserted gold mine town just on the edge of the mountains. Here we panned for gold after a grueling 2 hour (each way) off-road trip. It looked so much closer from the airplane!
